Senior Construction Manager - Area Development

Reports to: Director
Positions reporting to this Job Title Holder: QS and Estimating team, Construction Managers, Design team, Superintendants etc

Management of all Area Development including
- Hard and Soft Landscaping,
- Building interface
- Contractor Logistics
- Lighting and Audio Visual
- Graphic placement
- Final Utility Connections to Buildings
- Structural works for retaining walls, pedestrian bridges etc
- Coordination with central nursery on Trees, Palms and Ground Covers
- Shade Structures

Responsibilities
- Professional interface with other disciplines
- Ensures delivery of services to time and quality
- Plans, Organises and controls
- Manages and controls commercial and contractual obligations through his support team
- Manages and controls Quality, Programme obligations through his support team
- Advises and directs on commercial and contractual matters
- Selects and manages appropriate team members
- Main Representative for the project and Client facing

MotionGate is a 42 hectare Theme Park which comprises scope of 4 individual areas. Those are Facility, Show, Media and Ride. The SCM will be responsible for all Area Development within the park, coordination between all Main Contractors and will be required to carry out the following:
- Manage Consultants output
- Manage Main Contractor activities and Chair all meetings,
- Mange the conversion of Provisional Sums through the Contract duration,
- Manage interface with other Contractors on site and Resort wide,
- Manager Cost and Programme,
- Ensure Quality is adhered to on site by the Supervision team,
- Identify Risks and quantify/mitigate,
- Liaise directly with the Client and keep them abreast of all key issues,
- Should be committed to closing the project out to the completion,
- Administration of Contract.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years post Qualification experience
- Project Management Consultancy
- Management Team/Leadership Experience
- Degree

- Degree Qualified
- Complex Project Experience (Theme Parks, Healthcare etc)
