Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Ensures and upholds companys contractual value, reputation and customer satisfaction through timely, accurate, reliable and best practice development and reviews of all LNG agreements.

As Sales Administration (SA) focal point, utilises LNG agreement implementation, management and operations experience with the ability to interpret and understand legal clauses - to suggest improvements to support their efficient implementation and 24/7 management.

Key Accountabilities:
- As SA focal point, upholds companys contractual value by ensuring all contractual obligations for all new LNG agreements (e.g. SPAs, Master SPAs, Confirmation Notices, Heads of Agreements) are where possible operational, in-line with companys standards and best practices through SA producing venture co-ordination and subject matter expertise;
- Verifies SA implementation and management activities of LNG agreements through excellent knowledge of contract and cargo operations;
- Advises on LNG agreement legal language through ability to read clauses and identify intent and operational requirements/issues and commercial impact;
- Helps ensure all new LNG agreements are developed to the highest possible quality standards through leading group reviews, utilising lessons learnt, documenting best practices, supporting the development of companys standards, and working with industry experts such as Independent Surveyors;
- Provides negotiation support to Marketing department in the development of new LNG agreements;
- As SA focal point, co-ordinates and leads cross-departmental and cross-producing venture analysis, research, problem solving and initiatives, to support companys Marketing activities;
- Develops the framework for premier contract management and business support, utilising systems and software: SharePoint, companys hydrocarbon allocation system Energy Components and office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Utilises and shares LNG agreement learnings into producing, improving and publishing: policies and procedures, controls, tools, standards, templates and guidelines;
- Trains, coaches and develop staff to perform their role and maximise their competencies for continuous professional growth; and
- Supports and stands-in when required for the Head of LNG Contract Optimisation & Business Support in contract optimisation activities and the development, maintenance and timely and accurate stewardship of control tools and business support areas such as the annual controls calendar, risk registers, audits, KPIs, objectives and budget management.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics or Business Administration or associated degree or diploma in those areas.
- Minimum 8 years of general business or industry experience that includes a minimum of 6 years hydrocarbon sales contracts administration experience - with LNG agreement development/negotiation exposure;
- Experience of business support an advantage; and
- Good knowledge of the LNG industry is strongly desired.
- Strong analytical skills including economic analysis; negotiation and verbal-reasoning skills;
- Strong spreadsheet and modelling skills;
- Strong English verbal and written communication including presentation skills;
- Strong commercial process and controls knowledge; and advanced working knowledge of standard office software applications.
