Job description / Role
As a member of the Busy Commercial Team, you will be responsible for supervising two junior members of staff and undertaking the Subcontract Administration for a multi million dollar project in Abu Dhabi.
THE ROLE:
- Contract and commercial administration of the Subcontractors responsible for Mechanical aspects of the project
- Assist the manager in the finalisation of Letters of Intent and Acceptance and Subcontract Agreements
- Reviewing technical aspects of the contract
- Assist in finalising the Earned Value for the subcontractors
- Valuation of cost
- Issuing proposals and requests for variation
- Prepare and review liabilities on a monthly basis
- Implement reviews, resolve any conflicts or disputes
- Attending subcontractor progress meetings
- Obtain close out documentation
Requirements
- Strong commercial / engineering background with experience of Contract Administration for a main contractor
- Confident communication skills, able to influence others and obtain positive outcomes
- Ability to review technical information
- Highly numerate
- Experience of reviewing subcontract agreements and administration of such from LOI to close out would be an advantage
