Senior Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor - Stadium Project

Job description / Role

Our client is a Global Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor who have been set up in the Middle East for the last 25 years.

Due to a recent Major Project win, my client is currently recruiting for a Senior Contracts Administrator/ Quantity Surveyor to work on a $750m USD New Build Stadium project in Doha, Qatar as part of the States ongoing Construction plans for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The successful candidate should have project Contracts experience on projects of value above 500 million USD is preferred

This position will be responsible for:
- Single point contact for all Contractual matters with Employer.
- Contract Review and Study & identification of mutual contractual obligations
- Any Discussion with Employer along with Company and JV Representative.
- Leads Company and JV consortium in client commercial meetings.
- Consolidation of Contractual and Commercial issues of Company and JV and take initiative for resolution of issues.
- Responsible for representing Company and JV for Submission of Monthly Application and Certification, Change order Management.
- Reports to Project Director.
- Variation analysis.
- Preparation for issue of notices
- Claims and extra work.
- Contract Amendment.
- Preparation of Customers correspondence

Requirements

- Degree Qualified
- At least 15 years industry experience
- GCC experience advantageous but not essential
- Main Contracting experience
- Contracts Administration on Projects worth in excess of $500m USD
