Senior Contracts Administrator

Job description / Role

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager and responsible for the supervision and performance of contracts management of project sites.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performances of the contracts administration aspects of a set of projects as part of the programme management consultants role on a major programme of infrastructure development works
- Interfaces with all teams to meet overall program deliverables
- Assists with the delivering the contracts and procurement strategy in accordance with standards, policies, procedures and best practices
- Supports the contracts administration team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and securing materials, equipment and related services on time and within budget, in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures
- Reporting on contracts administration performance by Consultants and Construction Supervisors.

Requirements

- Sound knowledge of the contract administration aspects of major civil & infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities with experience in procurement and contract administration
- 10 + years post graduate experience
- Experience in supervising more junior members of the team
- Experienced user of MS Office and project management software
- Undergraduate degree or membership of a recognised International Professional Body e.g. MRICS
- Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC
- Fluency in English language both written and spoken
- Spoken Arabic is advantageous
