Senior Contracts Director (Construction)

Company:
Our client is responsible for the delivery of a QR 30bn capital programme in local Infrastructure works, in line with Qatar’s 2030 vision of urban regeneration and development.

Duties & Responsibilities:
We are urgently looking for a Senior Contracts Director (Construction) to lead a team and work on a project in Qatar.
You will play a key role on the delivery of a $3bn & $5bn infrastructure development programme, as Contracts Specialist you will be responsible, as client representative, for ensuring capital works projects are delivered in accordance with client commercial and financial procedures.
• Work in partnership with consultants and contractors to ensure delivery of the capital programme within the authorised budgetary constraints and in accordance with the client\'s financial objectives.
• Preparation of regular cost control and forecast reports and briefing papers on the financial status of the local roads & drainage programme.
• Management of the commercial and financial performance of the PMC and consultants and provision of feedback to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of service delivered through the supply chain..
• Detailed Monitoring of cost reports forecasts and schedules submitted by the PMC.
• Management of the commercial aspects of change authorisation on all contracts within the programme.

Requirements

You will:
• have over 20 years' experience
• be MRICS or MCIOB, MCIArb, MCICES
• have held senior management roles Major / Mega Civil / Infrastructure Project Experience
• be able to take an overview of major project.
