The RoleThe RolePrimary Purpose of the Job: • Provision of professional advise, expertise, and practical assistance to all assigned end-user departments of the Corporation in the review and preparation of scope of work, including developing the most suitable contracting strategy and the verification of the completeness and accuracy of the technical information supplied. • Preparation of tender documentation including pricing mechanism, compile comments from other applicable review parties and issue for tendering. • Assists the assigned end-user department in the issue of tender bulletins, tender clarifications, evaluations of tenders, commercial negotiation with tenderers, and award plan submissions. Represents the Contracts Department in various tender and evaluation committees. • Maintain strict confidentiality and ethics on all contractual matters. • Preparation of contract documents incorporating the effect of all negotiations, clarifications and qualifications. • Post Contract administration of contracts including processing of interim applications, re-measurement of work, evaluation of claims, variations and settlement of final account. • Liaise with the Contracts Legal Division, Finance and Insurance Departments to ensure that contracting strategies, tenders and contracts are in full compliance with Policies and Procedures. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: • B.Sc. Degree or equivalent in any one of the engineering disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Industrial or Quantity Surveying). Experience & Skills: • 12 years contract management and quantity surveying experience in pre and post contract award related activities including at least seven years experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry. • Good oral and written English language with proficiency in contract verbalism, good report writing, analytical and computer skills. • Must possess good presentation and writing skills. • Experienced team worker with interactive skills, pleasant personality and excellent rapport. |
