The Role

We are currently seeking Contracts Engineers/Senior Contracts Engineers with proven experience in oil and gas, process plants or related industries to manage multi-disciplinary engineering contracts to demanding cost and programme targets.

Opportunities are currently available to follow projects through into the field in locations in the Middle East.

Requirements


Requirements

Essential to the role is a detailed knowledge of the mechanisms required to manage construction contracts from inception to completion in a project environment.

Candidates should be familiar with all aspects of contract administration and be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of the following:

- contractor selection
- preparation of tender documentation
- the tendering process including tender evaluation, negotiation and contract award;
- site administration including interim payments and the agreement of the final account settlement.

- Candidates must be commercially aware,
- Candidates should be familiar with the standard conditions of contract prevalent in the industry.
- Candidates should possess risk management skills.
- Candidates should possess an engineering or business degree, or equivalent
