Executive Solutions in partnership with Faithful+Gould / Atkins are looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager – Healthcare for their Multi-Billion projects in Abu Dhabi.

The Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for the management of contracts within the responsibility of the project team and overseeing the contracts managers in their project delivery. This scope includes but is not limited to preparation and analysis of tenders, drafting of LOAs, post-contract management and contractual assessment of claims. The senior contracts manager is to provide professional guidance and assistance in contractual matters to other staff members within the project management team, particularly to the contracts managers and contracts administrators.

The Senior Contracts Managers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Supervising the performance of the contract management team to ensure quality and timeliness in delivery.
• Preparing tender / bid evaluations and recommendations in coordination with the commercial managers, quantity surveyors and construction managers.
• Ensuring that each member of the contracts team maintains and delivers work to the highest professional standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he or she needs to fulfil their responsibilities.
• Provision of the technical data to be included in the project’s reports and such other reports, exercises or investigations required by the team or client.
• Managing individual contracts managers.
• Preparation of contractual reports and guidance.
• Reviewing the maintenance of change management logs for specific project.
• Provide claims analysis and recommendation to the client.
• Reviewing and managing consultant’s contracts.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent and adequate administration procedures.
• Identifying, documenting and coordinating with the construction managers to resolve potential issues.
• Analysing information, reporting and recommendations.
• Participating in all change order negotiations.
• Preparing, as required, contractual variations for each potential change.
• Contract Interpretation.
• Contracts administration including drafting of all contractual correspondences on behalf of the client at supervision stage.
• Ensuring that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations; and reflecting them accurately in forecast.
• Client facing and leading commercial meetings.
• Financial and risk management and reporting.
• Insurance, guarantees and bonds management.
• Dispute resolution guidance and advice.
• Earned Value Management.
• Coordination with project controls and planning managers.

Requirements

To be shortlisted for this role you will have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree and MRICS or similar with a total of 20 years working experience out of which 5 years working in the UAE or GCC.
All candidates must have previous experience working on large scale hospital developments
