Senior Contracts Manager

Our client is leading cost management consultant in the Middle East. They have always viewed property and construction assets as having complex, integrated lifecycles. This consultant delivers a portfolio of services along this lifecycle, from concept through design and construction to the management and maintenance of a project or asset. They are one of the leading asset management and construction consultants, established for more than 100 years.

Duties & Responsibilities:
We are urgently looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to lead a team and work on a project in Makkah/Madinah.
• Supervise and provide, support so the team meet the project objectives within time, budget and in an ethical manner at all times
• Performance of the commercial aspects of set of projects as part of the programme management consultant’s role on major programme of infrastructure development works.
• Interface with other teams to meet overall programme deliverables.
• Assist s with the development of the contracts and procurement strategy standards. Policies. Procedures and best practices
• Ensure the correct execution of procedures for award and administration of Project contracts
• Good knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Management of consultants and contractor agreements
• Quality control; compliance with policies and procedures

Requirements

Qualification & Experience:
• Sound knowledge of the contract administration aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities with experience in procurement and contract administration
• 20 + Years post graduate experience
• Experience in managing team of 25 people
• Experienced user of MS Office and project management software.
• Undergraduate degree and membership of a recognized International Professional Body i.e. MRICS.
• Experience in International contracting mechanisms i.e. FIDIC
• Fluency in Arabic in English language both written and spoken.
• Experience of working in the Middle East
