Our client is leading cost management consultant in the Middle East. They have always viewed property and construction assets as having complex, integrated lifecycles. This consultant delivers a portfolio of services along this lifecycle, from concept through design and construction to the management and maintenance of a project or asset. They are one of the leading asset management and construction consultants, established for more than 100 years.

Duties & Responsibilities
We are urgently looking for Senior Contracts Specialist to lead a team and work on a project in Qatar.

• selecting, negotiating and forming contracts across projects for consultants and contractors
• provision of contractual advice to stakeholders advising on high risks and mitigation
• developing contracting strategies and implementation
• ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, policies and procedures
• provide training to others in contracts and implementation
• excellent knowledge of FIDIC and other forms of contract
• claims management
• risk management

Requirements

Qualification & Experience
You will have:
• Chartered MRICS or equivalent essential
• a degree in Construction Law or LLM or LLB
• minimum 15 years + experience
• broad experience in building sectors
• middle East or international experience preferred
• experience in delivery of cost consultancy services
• project management and engineering consultancy experience
