Senior Contractual and Claims Consultant

Job description / Role

A Senior Consultant is needed to join the join a leading global consultancy. You will be working as a consultant regionally and deal with exciting projects/assignments across Asia Pacific Region.

Duties
- Provide strategic procurement advice and quantity surveying expertise
- Deliver QS and claims assignments of different sizes and complexities
- Flexible to travel and act out his/her role derived from expansion the team
- Provide management input into contractual claims (preparation and assessment) and associated quantum matters
- Able to develop, accounts manage and grow work with new Asian based dispute clients
- Undertake negotiations while maintain good relationship with clients
- Keen to attend & is effective at networking functions to develop further business
- Supervise and manage junior staff

Requirements

Skills
- At least 10 years' relevant working experience on large scale projects
- Candidate with a mix of PQS and contractors experience highly preferred
- Knowledge in construction and contract law
- Asia experience preferred
- Able to work in a team and independent in the office or client offices
- Fluent in spoken and written English essential

Qualification/ education
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Chartered/working to be chartered are desirable
- MRICS/MHKIS/MCIARB/MCIOB;
