The RoleThe RoleYou will be responsible for analysing IT generated data and ensuring completeness in volumes and detail, in order to ensure the COS (Cost of Sales/Direct cost) is correctly reported. You will coordinate implementation of new prices for the direct cost in IT systems. You will analyse invoices from interconnect and roaming partners and prepare reconciliations with Nawras records, making sure that necessary clarifications/corrections from partners are obtained. You will be required to develop and maintain reports for spending variance compared to budget. You will also analyse and benchmark the cost structure in great detail, and proactively help the Network Management to take corrective action. You will work with the peer team controlling Revenue to develop budgets for Cost of Sales and to ensure budget is aligned to regulatory and partner set-up. You will work with the technical teams to generate budget in great detail and ensure alignment to the commercial request for coverage and services quality. All lines shall be detail analysed and backed up with proper input data. You will generate business cases for decision support. You will proactively build, adapt and update the economic costing models. You have up-to-date knowledge of the development of the regulatory environment in Oman and other relevant markets. You will be part of negotiation team for certain negotiations with suppliers and partners. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou have a University degree (Finance or MBA) or strong work experience within a related area. ACCA or similar will be preferred. you have extensive experience in business cases and financial modelling. You have minimum of 4 years experience with a mobile telecom operator. You have excellent analytical skills and good communication skills with ability to present financial results for a non financial audience. Possessing a structured approach in managing parallel tasks and decision making, you are a flexible, team player, with regulatory accounting and models skills. A super user in Excel, you are detail and quality oriented. You have excellent communications skills being fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is recommended but not a must. You have good MS Office skills. |
