Senior Coordinator, Human Resources, Abu Dhabi - 6 month contract

AECOM are currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our Abu Dhabi team.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be play a key role in supporting a business line through effective Human Resources Practices. You will assist with implementing and maintaining HR programs, policies and procedures in support of business objectives, in addition you will be responsible for providing HR administrative and advisory support and coordination for the business line.

Duties and Responsibilities;
- Providing exceptional client service to employees and managers in all matters related to human resources.
- Ensuring HR best practices support the business in achieving objectives and are aligned with AECOM HR values and priorities.
- Providing information, managing data and process support.
- Taking responsibility for administrative tasks including but not limited to HRIS and SumTotal audits and updates, coordinating benefits card distribution, tracking and organizing mobilization payments, leave administration and demobilizations.
- Facilitating inductions for new employees.
- Assisting employees with completing paperwork.
- Completing exit interviews.
- Assisting to develop, implement and effectively deliver a variety of HR programs including: On boarding, reward & recognition, employee training, benefits. administration, employee relations, performance management, etc.
- Tracking employee records and reporting on HR metrics.
- Assisting with the performance management process including administration, performance appraisals, salary adjustments, discipline, career development.
- Working with employees and managers to ensure they understand policies and processes, enabling them to solve HR related issues.
- Supporting retention and succession planning initiatives
- Advising and counseling employees and managers on the interpretation of policies and procedures
- Evaluating the effectiveness of current HR processes, programs, policies, systems. Recommending and developing alternatives or enhancements to create HR best practices.
- Participating in action planning to address employee survey results
- Assisting with HR initiatives & Special Projects as required

Requirements

- Fluency (both written and verbal) in both English and Arabic are a must
- 2 to 5 years experience in a HR Generalist role preferred
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation skills are a must
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in fast pace environment
- Ability to problem solve
- MS Office Suite experience (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Middle East HR experience desirable / definite asset
- Post secondary education, college or university, with a focus on HR
- HR Certification and/or designation desirable
