Job description / Role
Our client is a world class legal firm with a strong presence in the Middle East and we are recruiting a Senior Corporate Lawyer to manage their office in Muscat, Oman.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice from initial instruction to delivery on commercial, corporate, insurance and compliance matters, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets transactions and private equity investments
- Leadership of the local team and operations
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Law from a UK, USA or European accredited university
- 6 10 years post qualification commercial and corporate law gained within a Western organisation in the Gulf region in corporate professional financial, banking for insurance services
- Must have experience of private equity investments and mergers & acquisitions
- Experience of working in a leadership role within a private law practice or corporate in-house organisation
Candidate Profile:
- Currently living in the Gulf region
- Fluency in English is essential
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
