The RoleThe RoleOur client, a leading investment bank, is in need of a Senior Credit Analyst, with the following responsibilities: * Review financial statements of borrowers * Liaise with Account Officers to get information needed to understand financial statements. * Prepare financial spreads of banks, corporations, conglomerates, holding companies, etc. * Prepare high quality, critical financial statements. * Evaluate project cash-flows and viability. Sensitivity analysis. Modelling cash-flows. * Prepare industry studies. * Liaise with outside analysts. * Train junior analysts and credit trainees. |
RequirementsRequirements* Computer literacy; advanced spreadsheet skills * Excellent analytical ability - able to interpret data * High level of numeracy * Strong writing skills in English; Arabic an advantage. * Ability to work independently and complete assignments under time pressure. * Good knowledge of banking products * Basic degree in numerate subject - accounting, economics, banking, finance * Professional qualifications are preferred (MBA, CFA, CPA or other accounting qualification) * Relevant work experience (3 years in a reputable financial institution) |
