Job description / Role
The primary responsibility of the Senior Credit Analyst in the SME or Corporate team is to support the respective officers by handling all required financial / industry analysis for credit risk assessments and preparation of credit proposals for team members.
Our client, a leading regional Bank is recruiting Senior Credit Analysts for their SME and Corporate teams respectively. The Senior Credit Analysts will be responsible to:
Conduct spreading of company’s financial statements and industry analysis of corporate/commercial customers and analyze in a comprehensive write-up to assess the financial risks. Prepare credit proposals and short-term proposals.
Analyze account position and highlight strengths/weakness in account conduct.
Turn around credit proposals and short term credit proposals within benchmarked time frames.
Request and follow up on regular credit check on clients with other banks.
Requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following:
Bachelors degree / higher national diploma for UAE Nationals
Minimum 2 years experience in corporate banking, specifically preparing proposals and performing customer analysis.
Experience with banking regulations regarding credit facilities
Communication skills in English (verbal and written)
