The RoleThe RoleAn international investment bank seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to join its dynamic team in Bahrain. The analyst will be responsible for the timely preparation of quality financial and other complex analyses. The Analyst will report to the Head of the Credit Analysis Unit, within the Global Credits Division. Responsibilities: • Ensure a prudent level of portfolio diversification in the bank. • Develop and manage a comprehensive credit policy and strategy for the entire bank. • Prepare financial spreads of banks, corporations, conglomerates, holding companies, etc. • Liaise with Account Officers to get information needed to understand financial statements. • Conduct sensitivity analysis, model cash flows and evaluate project cash-flows and viability. |
RequirementsRequirements• At least 5 years credit analysis experience in a bank in the GCC. • Basic degree in a numerate subject: Accounting / Economics / Banking / Finance. • Professional qualifications are preferred (MBA in Finance, CFA, CPA or other equivalent accounting qualification).
