Employment: Full Time

Our client, a reputable financial services company is currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Analyst

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a member of the Enhanced information department, you will be responsible for providing information and analytical support via direct contact to companies that are under risk assessment.

Your responsibilities include:
- Contact and Meet with Finance and management teams in the in UAE and GCC for the purpose of assessing the credit worthiness of these companies and providing credit risk opinions.
- Support Companys regional development in the region and enhance the underwriting capabilities by performing financial and field analysis and provide credit risk rating.
- Proactive collection of information, working with information providers, and giving recommendations to the risk underwriting team.
- Network and communicate to build market relationships and industry knowledge about key industry sectors and make sector studies and research that aim at improving sector expertise.
- Perform regular analysis and reporting.

Measures of Success and personal Specification:
- Strong analytical and financial skills and knowledge of financial scoring methods.
- Excellent communication skills with real ability to network.
- Proficient organisation, prioritisation and time management.
- Flexible and dynamic attitude, as part of an entrepreneurial team.

Requirements

- University degree in Business/Finance
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Leading Credit Insurance group or a reputable financial institution in an Analysis and risk management role.
- CFA or equivalent certificate is a plus in addition to excellent financial analysis skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
- English is mandatory, other languages are an asset.
