Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a prominent local bank. Our client is looking to hire Senior Credit Analysts to join their corporate credit department. This role will be responsible for processing complex credit proposals for large corporate clients.
You will analyse credit proposals relating to corporate clients ensuring that these adhere to the banks procedures / policies and the UAE Central Bank rules. You will also conduct due diligence on all proposals, identifying any gaps within the disclosures and information provided. Additionally, you will provide SWOT analysis on proposals, covering the strengths and risks of each client and presenting them to Senior Management for review. You will address queries to assist in the decision making process and communicate management decisions on credit proposals to various internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers and Segment Heads.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with regional experience. You should have a minimum of 6 years experience in the finance sector with at least 2 years in a credit function for a large bank. It is essential you have experience dealing specifically with credit proposals within a corporate banking team.
