Senior Credit & Risk Manager

Job description / Role

Job Activities:
- Advising senior bankers and business lines on the structuring of the transactions upstream to the credit application (this task must be made by a senior analyst);
- Analyzing the FO request, conducting a financial and credit analysis, and writing of credit files in conjunction with the Support to Front team and senior bankers for their portfolio and for all business lines;
- Determining Risk Ratings in Anadefi (calculation, proposal and validation) for groups and counterparties;
- Elaborating/ Update the risk strategy with the senior banker during annual reviews;
- Monitoring of the economic and financial evolution of clients;
- Monitoring of the global set of limits on groups;
- Per delegation level, issuing recommendations or risk opinions concerning the quality of the borrower, the relevance of the proposed transaction or the set up of limits, the internal rating. Participation to the Local Credit Committee. For credit applications exceeding the local delegation, working in coordination with regional and HO RPC teams;
- Monitoring of Annual Review calendar.

Requirements

Skills:
1) A strong capacity for both analysis and synthesis: the job requires very strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of financial analysis, and a capacity to synthesize information clearly.
2) A thorough understanding of the products offered by commercial banks including TF, Treasury and IB.
3) A thorough understanding of the activities
4) Ability to articulate and write analysis, conclusions and recommendations in a clear, accurate and concise manner.
5) A sharp and logical mind, intellectual curiosity and common sense,
6) A very good ability to communicate and to explain, demonstrate, convince, verbally as well as in writing in English.

Qualifications:
Degree in Finance /Chartered AC
Arabic is a plus.
