Senior Credit Risk Officer – International Bank
Our client, a well-reputed European bank, is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Credit Risk Officer with regional exposure.
Reporting ultimately into the Chief Risk Officer, responsibilities will include:
• Development of the approved risk appetite
• Developing and delivering credit risk-related policies and promoting compliance thereof
• Coordinating the monitoring and pro-active management of credit risk,
• Input to Board-level risk reporting and MIS on compliance with credit risk management policies
• Monitoring the credit quality of the portfolio
• Liaising with relevant external stakeholders on credit risk matters
• Advising business management on credit risks inherent in BAU and new business initiatives
• Mentoring, appraisal and professional development of appropriate members the Risk team
Requirements
Candidates are expected to have at least 7 years hands-on management experience in a senior credit risk role within financial services.
Experience of Basel requirements and the Middle East and international banking regulatory environment is required.
Good communication and presentation skills in English essential.
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience.
