Senior Design Architect

Job description / Role

Perform a variety of assignments such as conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts, design criteria and preparing high quality presentation drawings, reports and renderings

Lead and prepare detail design and the production information including working drawings, specification and technical design reports.

Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related reports.

Coordinate architectural design with other engineering disciplines including structural, MEP and other division groups within the company.

Provide technical guidance to Architectural Designers, Drafters and others working on the same project.

Ensure the compliance with applicable codes, standards and client requirements.

Requirements

Degree in Architecture with minimum 15 years of experience

Self motivated with an excellent design background.

Experienced in transportation and infrastructure buildings including car parks and multi-disciplinary projects.

Full architectural qualification from a well recognized institution.

Capable of producing design and technical drawings and specification and with some experience in BIM process for the projects.

Good knowledge of Local and International building code and regulations.

Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design.

Middle Eastern and local experience will be an advantage.
