Senior Design Architect/ Engineer Main Contractor

Client Profile:

Our client is a major Saudi Arabian Building Contractor established for over 40 years. They have constructed many high profile projects in the Kingdom in the commercial, residential, military and medical sectors.

They are the main contractor in a multi-billion dollar university, medical and residential complex in Riyadh and require a Senior Design Architect to interface with the clients design team and manage the infrastructure aspects of the large project.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Interface with Client design team in Concept and Scheme designs.
- Carry out design of infrastructural elements of the project.
- Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers.
- Coordinate with, instruct and supervise design engineers and draughtsmen.
- Carry out checks and review of other engineers design.
- Responsible for the accuracy of own work and the work of his/her team.
- Responsible for the checking of CAD work done
- Give site backup on technical/design issues, where required.

Report to Design and Project Management on any changes made during construction.

Requirements

Requirements:

- 15 years practical experience.
- Arabic speaking beneficial but not essential.
- Relevant Third level qualification.
- Main Contractor Experience would be beneficial.
- Experience on Mega projects an advantage.
- Middle Eastern experience.
- Progressive career development with proven loyalty shown to previous employers.
