Job description / Role
Senior Designer needed for an independent agency in Dubai. Must have advertising and branding experience.
The role requires someone with unique design skills, conceptual is key, to work on clients mainly in the Hospitality sectors.
Senior Graphics Designer works with the graphics team to ensure that each placed graphic or print meets the categories product brief and the seasonal design direction set by the Creative Director and Senior Management team.
The right candidate must be able to:
Create materials from creative brief to final layout
Oversee projects, manage timelines, provide art direction to production artists and other designers
Select/manage photographers, illustrators, etc.
Attend client meetings, present to clients
Requirements
Qualifications:
• 5 to 7+ years of advertising and branding design experience
• Bachelors degree in graphics, illustration or communication design
• Knowledge of screen printing and graphic treatment techniques and how they translate onto footwear
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills
• Strong team player as well as the ability to work independently
• Ability to manage more junior members’ workload and timelines as needed and escalate deadline issues to the Design Manager and Director
• Presentation and Storytelling skills
• Advanced level in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; In design a plus
• Prior management or mentoring of more junior designers a plus
5 years design experience
