We are currently seeking a Senior Developer consultant to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE for key accounts. A consultant is a creative, innovative, and often independent IT professional. A consultant can work well with challenging clients and on challenging engagements to determine requirements, work with a team to design solutions, support the development of those solutions, and solve problems. A consultant has strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Senior Developer role is often a leadership role for enterprise solutions development. This position will be primarily supporting innovative, enterprise level government application development projects. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with a software development team comprised of onsite/in-country members, and US-based staff, to develop cutting edge solutions based on challenging client requirements
- Participate in application requirements gathering and design meetings
- Support the development of solution designs and testing scripts
- Support the development of solution modules by multiple working groups
- Supervise the work of junior developers
- Support testing workflows on code and review recorded findings, working with development team to resolve defects
- Attend project status meetings as required
- Support solution deployment and maintenance activities

Requirements

- BS in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, Engineering, Math, Management Information Systems or related field required.
- 5-8 years experience developing web applications within enterprise architectures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently is required
- Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively
- Demonstrated examples of solving difficult GIS and, specifically, ArcGIS for Server-related enterprise application challenges for past clients.

Preferred Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET is required
- Proficiency with JavaScript required. Specifically some experience with one or more JavaScript libraries like JQuery, Angular, Knockout JS, etc.
- Proficiency developing enterprise solutions with Esris ArcGIS for Server is required
- Experience with ArcGIS Online is preferred
- Experience working with relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server) is required
- Experience using bug/issue tracking software such as Jira, TestTrack, Bugzilla, etc. is preferred
- Experience using a source code repository such as Git, Surround, Subversion, etc. is preferred
