Job description / Role
- Responsible for scoping, technical design, coding, testing and deployment with high standards.
- Provides tactical and strategic input on overall Development.
- Conducts research and evaluates emerging solutions, services, protocols and standards.
- Lead the design and deployment of new interfaces and related solutions and services utilizing industry best practices.
- Evaluate, analyze, address and document the technical and organizational impacts of new changes.
- Produce, review and maintain service design documentation for integration service offerings (detailed requirements, specifications, testing strategy, deployment strategy, migration plans, back-out strategies etc.)
- Work closely with customers to plan for deployments of new interfaces and features and manage their expectations
- Analyze and understand customer requirements, organization, functions and decision making processes.
- Full understanding of SDLC.
- Provide technical training and support to Systems Integration and other support staff.
- Any other task as assigned by the Line Manager
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Computer Science.
- Java version 5 and above, Servlets, JSP , jQuery version 1.x is mandatory
- Familiar with MVC frameworks and Design patterns.
- Java persistence API JPA-API 2.0, specific experience on spring framework 3.0, Struts2 frame work.
- Understanding of Websphere & IBM HTTP webserver.
- Sound knowledge of Database & OOPs Concepts, system integration.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge of Banking Law and Practices.
