Job description / Role
A leading Property Developer is looking for an experienced Development Manager to Direct and oversee the full life cycle of the real estate development process from concept to handover and ongoing management.
Apply established development strategy to create products and oversee design, procurement, tendering, construction, marketing, leasing, handover and ongoing management through other departments and outsourced consultants.
Delivery of strong financial performance through market facing product creation, cost effective construction and strong financial analysis and control.
Ensure delivery on time, to budget and with maximised long term value. Products include Warehouses, Light Industrial Units, Offices, Workforce Accommodation, Build-to-Suits and local Retail).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering or similar
Further business qualification e.g. RICS, ideal but not essential
Highly numerate
Well developed IT skills, in particular the ability to create, manage and manipulate complex excel spreadsheets from concept.
Experienced in MSProject, Primavera or similar
Experience of one or more standard real estate appraisal packages (e.g. Estate Master or Argus/Circle) an advantage but not essential
