Job description / Role
Core Responsibilities:
• Grow the portfolio of Omran through developing new projects, acquiring existing companies/project, or coming up with new ideas all related to the tourism sector.
• Scrutinize and develop market research, information packs, and business fact sheets.
• Review and evaluate business opportunities, analysis, and provide recommendation.
• Draft RFP for proposal for outsourcing services, as required.
• Manage external management consultants, as required
• Develop proposals, board presentations, and investment packages.
• Must be able to work on commercial and infrastructure deals.
• Training and mentoring an Omani Development Managers.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years experience.
• Excellent Excel skills, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Previous Management consulting experience is preferable.
• Investment packaging experience is preferable.
• Must have real estate and tourism experience.
About the Company
Omran is the Government of Oman’s tourism development and investment arm. It was established in 2005 with a mandate to develop the infrastructure and facilities required to expand the country’s existing tourism industry. This is in support of the Government’s plan to develop tourism as a major national industry by 2020.
