Job description / Role
G4S is currently recruiting for a Senior Draftsman to assist the Design & Estimation Manager and his team in designing of systems and preparation of proposals and tenders. He/she will be responsible for design drawings, detailed and coordinated shop drawings to support sales, design and execution team based on the information/specification provided for the project considering local building laws and regulations defined by various local government bodies /departments.
The Senior Draftsman is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
Prepare technical drawing for submittals / system design
Assist in the preparation of submittals, proposals and tenders
Ensure files and documents are maintained as per ISO requirements and processes
Ensure good relations are maintained with all members of staff at all levels
Adherence to the Quality Management System procedures and its performance
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics from a reputable university
Minimum 5years relevant experience, preferably 2 years in the UAE or Middle East.
Possess certification in AutoCad/CADD tools and should have a good exposure in AutoCAD 2013.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Good English communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work under pressure and strict timeline.
