Job description / Role
Parsons Brinckerhoff was selected by Ashghal to provide program management consultant (PMC) services for what is expected to be more than 200 local road and drainage infrastructure projects to be implemented throughout the country over a period of five to seven years. Five general engineering consultants (GECs) have been selected to design, tender and supervise construction of the projects under Parsons Brinckerhoffs supervision.
As such, we are recruiting for a Sr Drainage Design Engineer to provide technical and managerial support to the Programme Design Manager and the Drainage design review Team
Requirements
To be considered for the role you would have to have at least 14 years of experience and extensive background on design and review for major drainage and sewerage works such as:
- New surface water sewerage systems by both, open cut and deep tunnels, surface water detention tanks, pumping stations, borehole well injection systems and evaporation basins.
- Ground water control systems
- Foul sewerage systems comprising open cut pipelines, deep tunnels and large pumping stations.
- Treated sewage effluent and re-cycled water irrigation systems.
