Senior Drainage Engineer (Design)

Job description / Role

- Manage the design schedule.
- Manage progress of drawings and specification.
- Coordinate with other disciplines as well as with other engineers and CADD within the discipline.
- Lead design in the drainage, sewerage and TSE design work in the office.
- Develop necessary Design models.
- Monitor and report design changes.
- Write Design Reports.
- Provides direction and ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment.
- Plans, organizes and manages the work to ensure optimal use of resources and workload.
- May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering/related discipline with minimum of 12 years with hands on experience in drainage designs related to highway / civil engineering projects.
- Must have experience with drainage software related to roadway / civil projects.
- Must be familiar with AASHTO codes.
- Must have experience in drainage software such as HEC-RAS.
- Must have experience in CAD software - MicroStation experience would be a plus.
- Experience in projects delivered by multi-contracts execution
- Middle East experience is preferred.
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal and have experience in composing correspondence related to his responsibilities.
