Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
• Provides technical expertise with experience based knowledge to technical and operational divisions / departments
• Carries out reliability studies on existing equipment to assist Fields / Terminal maintenance support departments in reviewing maintenance practices, philosophies and strategies.
• Assists in developing maintenance programs for major overhaul of rotating equipment and installations with the objective of achieving high service factor at optimum cost.
• Liaises with Engineering & Major Projects in the reliability engineering design and specifications of plant equipment and installation for new projects.
• Advises maintenance support on troubleshooting of non-routine equipment failure by conducting failure cause analysis and reliability audits, as required.
• Develops and implements Maintenance Optimization Program using reliability Center maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Availability maintenance (RAM) and other reliability modeling methods, introduction of new technique either by conducting trials or by analytical approach.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Bachelors Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or relevant engineering.
• 10 years experience in Drilling & Workover Operations / Engineering.
