Job description / Role
• Management of subcontractors and contract administration.
• Production of electrical shop and execution drawings based on design drawings and specifications, and based on manufacturer requirements.
• Preparation of value engineering exercises to optimize system performance and generate cost savings.
• Preparation of electrical material submittals, based on project specifications, and negotiation of offers.
• Procurement of materials required for construction.
• Management of subcontractors and contract administration.
• Responsible for representing the company at a technical level and providing the technical support needed to assist others in taking contractual decisions.
• Responsible for following up and tracking progress of works in conjunction with project planning.
• Responsible for performing quality control actions and filtering on all documents and queries raised by subcontractors prior to forwarding to the consultant.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of work experience
- Capable of liaising with the project team as well as management.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient with computer software systems
