Job description / Role
• Carry out design reviews, across all design stages, of specific work packages as delegated by the Design Manager.
• Manage the design process such that the highest quality of design deliverables are submitted for review.
• Ensure that co-ordination with other design discipline review teams is carried out.
• Carry out design reviews with respect to relevant local and international design codes of practice.
• Carry out design reviews with respect to the client’s performance and/or detailed functional brief.
• Monitor the resubmissions of design deliverables to ensure that all review actions have been responded and/or integrated.
• Attend design review meetings/workshops with design consultants as required.
• Contribute specialist expertise that will enhance the outputs of the design consultants in line with the objectives of the project.
• Proactively forecast and monitor progress for design actions that are on the critical path of design/construction.
• Create and maintain project tracking documents for electrical design outputs and reviews.
Requirements
If you have at least 10 years’ experience in Electrical Construction roles, this is an opportunity to join KEO in the role of Senior Electrical Engineer and be part of a prestigious project in Doha.
Ideally, candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and any appropriate Institutional affiliations (IEEE, NECA, IET, etc.) would be advantageous.
