Job description / Role
Prepare electrical designs for large scale industrial projects
Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems,and equipment specification and selection
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions
Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers and support personnel
Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients
Lead an electrical design group on large scale industrial projects
Requirements
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school.
Minimum of 7 years of experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
Ability to utilize an electrical CAD package
Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with management to set and achieve goals based on priorities of development projects and support of internal and external customers.
