Job description / Role
Our client is a leading Oil and Gas operator. They currently require a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their ever expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and progress with a company who look to promote from within.
The main purpose of the Senior Electrical Engineer will be to plan all Electrical maintenance activities. Within this role, typical responsibilities will include (but not limited to);
- Act as a technical focal point for the Electrical Maintenance.
- Maximise the reliability of the equipment within area of responsibility.
- Provide support to the onshore and offshore organization on Electrical related issues.
- Liaise with contractors and vendors and maintain cost effective and high quality service.
- Assure Electrical safety offshore.
- Ensure that equipment documentation and procedures are constantly updated within areas of responsibility.
- Ensure proactively day to day offshore support and follow-up within areas of responsibilities.
- Prepare yearly budget and handle budget follow-up and cost control within area of responsibility.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria;
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Minimum of 6 years experience.
- Experience of Electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of oil and gas and offshore operations.
