Senior Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

The incumbent should have Airport experience and strong knowledge in design and construction. The Senior Electrical Engineer on technically related issues reports to the Engineering Manager and assists in the overall functional and operational integrity of the project.

Job Description:

Supports the Lead Engineer and Facility Managers in the engineering and management functions required to successfully complete the project. Assists in the supervision of engineering, budgeting, and scheduling.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

B.Sc/M.Sc. in Electrical engineering from an accredited college or university is required.

3 years experience in supervisory / Managerial role directly related to the position is required involving independent decisions and comparative responsibility. out of 12 years overall experience. Experience must have included accountability for project or project area engineering activities.

Additional Requirements:

• Evidence of good potential as shown by satis¬factory growth in responsibility and a good record of achievements and accomplishments in previous positions.

• Proficiency in applying advanced engineering techniques and/ or the ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of one or more projects.

• Ability to lead a team effort, get the job done, and foster interest and enthusiasm on a project.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
