JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE
• Participates in the provision of electrical engineering expertise to design and development projects related to oil/gas production, pressure maintenance, transportation and export. Ensures application of sound electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Participates in tendering and contracting activities related to electrical engineering segments of development projects and may represent the Company with selected design consultants.
• Provides technical support to Field and Terminal Operations in identifying and rectifying electrical engineering related problems.
• Electrical systems and plants include power generation, transmission and distribution networks, transformers, switchgears and motors, electrical control, protection systems and metering, etc.
REMUNERATION
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
Requirements
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years' experience in design and development of capital projects related to electrical systems within the oil and gas industry.
