Job description / Role
- Calculations such as electrical load calculations, short circuit calculations, cable sizing calculations, cable tray loading, lighting, grounding, UPS, battery charger sizing, etc.
- Relay coordination studies using ETAP software.
- Development of drawings including SLDs, layouts, interconnection diagrams, elementary diagrams etc.
- Preparation of specifications for MCCs, switchgear, panel boards etc.
- Conduct constructability reviews, prepare scopes of work, requests for quotation, review design documentation submitted by vendors and evaluate vendor quotations. Prepare deliverables lists and engineering man-hour estimates.
Requirements
- BSc Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years working experience in electrical design for upstream large oil & gas projects
- Must be a good Communicator
- Must have good Written and Spoken English Skills.
- Must be a Team Player.
