Senior Engineer - Control / Instrumentation

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Senior Engineer - Control / Instrumentation who will be assigned in Abu Dhabi for 12 months. Anticipated mobilisation is on the 1st of January 2015.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Process Control Network (PCN) security expertise, consultancy services, engineering design and provide the required support to the execution of PCN security projects / Programs, and provide support to Client sites in the fields of Integrated Control Systems (ICS), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Process Control Systems (PCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), Pipeline Network Supervisory and Monitoring Control (SMC), etc.
- Ensure high-class engineering specifications, internationally recognized PCN and Cyber security standards and procedures are delivered and applied by Consultants/Contractors on all project phases.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area of PCN security to meet functional objectives.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oil/Gas Industry is mandatory.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Electrical / Control System Engineering from an accredited university.
- Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phases of oil/gas projects. Thorough knowledge of DCS, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire and Gas (F&G) and SCADA systems generally incorporated in major oil/gas project is essential.
- Must have the capacity to supervise and manage FEED Engineers for development of FEED deliverables.
- Familiarity with subsystems such as fire and gas, emergency shutdown systems, etc. and Advance Process Controls will be an added qualification. Participation with contribution during Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) reviews, shop and field testing of control systems shall be demonstrable during execution.
