Senior Engineer – Quality & Sourcing

A UAE based client of ours is looking for a Senior Engineer – Quality & Sourcing, for their operations based in Dubai.

Job Purpose Statement:
Responsible for the Quality management and sourcing functions related to EME activities. To manage a team of engineers under Quality & sourcing functions and to achieve excellence in the International market.

Requirements

Minimum requirements are:
- Degree in Mechanical engineering
- Technical knowledge of Industrial valves, pipes, fittings, instruments & accessories. - Knowledge in valves / pipe standards like API / ASTM / BS / ISO / MSS etc.
- Experience and Knowledge in project management functions, inspection & Quality control procedures.
- Knowledge in vendor auditing / sourcing.
8-10 years in Industrial valve or related industry.
- Knowledge of Computers (MS office) & internet / AutoCAD (latest version).
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Should have proven experience to handle ISO / HSE activities.
- Sound knowledge in foundry, valve castings. Knowledge in NDT.
- Positive attitude, zeal to learn, leadership qualities and a team player.
- Valid UAE driving license.

Compensation:
AED 14,000 – 16,000 + standard benefits.
