Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To supervise & support the rotating maintenance team in the day to day activities and to provide technical support to the maintenance of rotating machinery equipment within the refinery such as gas turbines, steam turbine, compressors, pumps, fin fans etc.
- Provide technical assistance and trouble-shooting support for all rotating equipment, and ensure that all maintenance activities and procedures are aligned with reliability requirements.
- Provide functional supervision to the rotating equipment technicians and support them in performing their assigned duties.
- Carry out Troubleshooting / Inspection to establish root causes of failure (RCFA) and prepare Corrective Maintenance plans and detailed schedules, including materials and manpower resources.
- Maintain Technical Interfaces and Supervision of Original Engineering Manufacturing (OEM) Vendors, Manufacturers, Contractors and relevant discipline engineers within the refinery.
- Work with the Rotating Team Leader in the development of annual budgets and play a key role in the management and control of costs.
- Identify & request all spare parts required for reliable operation of the rotating equipment and closely follow up with all concern departments until the spares are deliver.
- Development & improve the technical maintenance skills for Omani nationals.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive Experience in Oil and Gas Maintenance filed with a minimum 10 years experience in overhauling of Rotating Machinery Equipments such as Gas Turbine.
