Senior Engineer – Site Supervision (DT)

Job description / Role

Leading & Monitoring the technical team for site project supervision and witnessing the commissioning & testing. Coordination and actions on all site activities. Preparing site progress periodical reports.
Report to the Head Section on all site issues.
Attending monthly follow up meetings. Coordinate and follow the process of handing over after project completion. Project manager construction stage .
Review and approve site attendance sheets and invoice processing for IWPP projects, consultancy projects. Coordination with Electrical and water Net works operation and maintenance for commissioning dispatch activities. Warranty period monitoring with the contractor after handing over of EHV substations to O&M dept. Attending, coordinating with the End User departments, Annual Dependable capacity tests and review of test reports

Leading the supervision & monitoring of project execution, commissioning & testing: IWPP Power & Water projects, EHV Substations, EHV cables, Transformers, Fuel gas installation & Commissioning, Seawater/ Potable water pump houses etc

Site visits for monitoring the erection, Inspection, testing and commissioning of Power station and Desalination units and main equipment such as GTGs, STGs, Boilers, Electrical equipment in fuel gas supply & treatment plants, Desalination Plants, seawater and potable water pumping stations, HV/MV/LV motors, transformers, 400/220/132 kV GIS equipment & substation and HV/MV/LV cables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 10 years experience in Senior Lead Position in Power & Water projects in site supervision on Erection, Commissioning and Testing of Power and Water Plants. Should have lead experience in execution of IWPP contracts, Consultancy contracts. Experience in Leading the Construction team and Project Management. Involvement and Trouble shooting in Technical issues and advising to the management.
