Senior Engineering Manager (Bridge Construction)

Our client is a long established Asian construction and civil engineering consultancy, working closely with prestigious international main contractors.

Due to continued growth, they now require a talented and ambitious Senior Engineering Manager specialising in Bridge Construction to join their team in Hong Kong, leading the bridge design team on a large-scale viaduct project.

Responsibilities will include:

* Providing engineering inputs and technical support for construction project;
* Producing innovative designs;
* Managing bridge design and construction works;
* Providing temporary works solutions;
* Leading in technical aspects of buildability studies.

Requirements

Requirements:

A minimum of 15 years experience in engineering and design, gained either with contractors or consultants.
Proven experience of managing and designing large-scale launching girders
High level of safety awareness and excellent communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
Membership of a recognised professional organisation, such as MHKIE, MICE or MIStructE is essential.
