Job description / Role
The Senior Engineering Technician – Mechanical, will be responsible for the monitoring of the maintenance of Air Conditioning, Ventilation, pumped circuits, refrigeration, bearings and lubrication elements, water supplies, drainage and public health. The successful candidate will review and comment on implantation of a PPM for all plans and installation, as well as being responsible for emergency repair and maintaining a system for efficient and immediate attendance to incidents (if required). The Senior Engineering Technician – Mechanical, will implement and develop safety regulations and requirements. He / She will support the preparation of specifications of mechanical works for projects, evaluate and monitor all Airport (Mechanical) Maintenance work programs and estimates, investigate and support preparation of tender documents for construction and maintenance of terminal and airfield projects, as well as checking and approving valuation of works.
Requirements
Candidates should only apply if they hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent, with training from a mechanical institute. Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and had use of planned preventative maintenance system. Candidates should have 3-5 years experience in supervising mechanical projects.
Preference will be given to Bahraini candidates.
