The RoleThe RoleReporting to the Regional Environmental Services Manager the prime responsibility of this role is to manage the environmental field services department in KSA. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be an experienced emissions testing engineer who has a comprehensive practical understanding and demonstrable project management and execution track record of a wide variety of stack testing project work employing USEPA methods. You will be the first point of contact in our client's KSA facility for environmental field services enquiries and further to orientation, prepare quotations and proposals in line with client requirements. You will represent the company at client meetings for project/technical related reasons and in pursuit of new business opportunities. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou will have proven technical experience, with a It is essential that you have a minimum 5 years emission testing experience and are MCERTS qualified. Ideally educated to degree level in an engineering or science based subject you will be physically fit and able to withstand the challenging working conditions presented by the climbing of stacks in high ambient temperatures >40C. Experience of isokinetic, wet chemistry and instrumental testing (e.g. infra red, FID, GC etc) is essential as is an ability to troubleshoot equipment on site. Additional experience in ambient air quality monitoring, LDAR and groundwater sampling techniques would be considered highly advantageous. Alternatively a willingness to embrace new skills in these areas and apply them in a practical context is considered prerequisite With a strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions you'll be a self motivated team player with excellent organisation and communication skills. An awareness, understanding and acceptance of the lifestyle benefits and/or constraints associated with being KSA based is essential. Salary will depend on experience but will be in the region of $4000 a month as a basic salary. Accommodation, transportation and helathcare will be provided. You must be impeccably fluent in both oral and written English but being bilingual English/Arabic would be considered highly advantageous. |
