Senior Equity Analyst – Food & Telecom

Job description / Role

Our client, a Saudi based bank, is a specialist in a range of areas. These include Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Banking & Brokerage Services.They are looking to build on successes from previous years. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Senior Equity Analyst for their Saudi office.

Key roles and responsibilities
- Conduct primary research on industry & specific companies through customer due diligence, earnings calls, company visits, industry conferences, and sell-side events.
- Maintain coverage of approximately 12 - 15 Food & Telecom stocks and rank using a rating system from buy to sell.
- Conduct detailed valuation analysis on sector companies.
- Accurately assess market expectations by identifying consensus views on stocks and industry.
- Proactively work with fund managers across the complex to include best investment ideas in portfolios.
- Supervise a team of one or two junior analysts.

Requirements

- MS/MSc./MBA/Masters & CFA must.
- 7+ years of overall experience of which 4+ must be as a dedicated analyst for a buy side firm.
- 2+ years of experience covering Saudi stock market preferably Food & Telecom stocks.
- Must be currently located in KSA.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements.
- Ability to create detailed earnings models and written reports to support stock rankings.
- Knowledge of various valuation methodologies.
- Strong financial modeling proficiency.
- Ability/willingness to work in a team environment.
- Fluent in English
- MBA in a related major
- CFA charter
