Job description / Role
Senior Estimator Infrastructure
Our client is one of Qatar oldest and most respected main contractors operating across construction, infrastructure and MEP sectors.
Due to continued growth and development, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator with infrastructure experience to join their team in Doha.
Duties will include:
Review preliminary drawings and specifications
Estimate the costs of infrastructure projects
Analyze and compile data on resources that may have influence on costs
Prepare inquiries and clarifications
Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best price
Prepare schedules of comparison of prices
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 15 years industry experience.
A background with established contractors
Good knowledge in MS-Office packages
Good communication & negotiation Skills
Fluency in verbal & written English
Degree in Civil Engineering
Package is negotiable on experience, but will be highly competitive.
