Their client base in the Mining & Metals sector includes seven of the worlds top nine companies, where they are increasingly providing these clients with a range of Project Services, including project controls, Sustainability and Management Consultancy services. The Role: Senior Estimators - Mining & Metals Location: Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide The Description: Duties and responsibilities include: Develop the Estimate Breakdown Structure, and the estimating process Conduct feasibility estimates and cost estimates Update the capital control estimate at each key project milestone Report on changes from previous cost estimates and identify and quantify the reasons for and the amounts of the changes Produce lists of assumptions and exclusions used in the build-up of cost estimates and agree with the Project Manager Develop the estimating methodology to outline the factors that are incorporated into the capital cost Management of the team and sign off estimates prior to issue to the project team The Candidate: Ideally you will have oil and gas estimating experience, (onshore and offshore) and be able to demonstrate experience in project costs audits / cost assurance review, including writing of reports to communicate findings to Senior Management; this is a key aspect of the role. You must have excellent written communications skills as well as an ability to communicate well both with Senior Management and with the project teams The successful candidates will join a growing business with a strong client list, where hard work will be noticed and rewarded, and room for career progression really exists.
